Be sure to use GTC (Good Till Close) instead of DAY for the Time In Force (TiF) for use in real practice if you want this to be checking every day to see if the condition is met and then do it automatically for you even while you are busy doing something else.

Think or swim is complicated and doesn't have to be. You should be able to right click anywhere and ADD new chart should be available. It`s literally a couple key strokes for them to program this way....This grid is stupid to say the least......how do you add 1 single chart??????? to a different monitor?????

You need to hit the "Ext." button in the lower right hand corner to be able to view the extended hours on your chart.

The fact that TD (now schwab) doesn't instantly execute your order (especially after you've gone through the CONFIRM AND SEND) is ridiculous. Yes, 99.9% of the time, exercising options is stupid. But if I wanted someone to handle my trades for me, I would. So just put the order through that I submitted. Don't ask me (or tell me) it's better to do it this way blah blah... Time is money (literally, with options).

I am sure I am missing something here, when selling in your example the mkt price was about 273.00, yet you put your price at 200, losing 73 USD per share. meaning losing 730.00 USD in your 10 shares?. is it in case the price drops abruptly?? like a stop loss?.. didn`t get it, other than that great video.👍

It's still really lame that you have to actually type the numbers in a box....You should just be able to right click anywhere on the chart and be given the option to autofill any box in the trading ticket.

hi, first i want to say thanks for all the valuable info on your channel. i saw many channels on the subject and yours is the best one. your explanations flows and very clear. i was very interested on the iron condor and your video on it, with the opposite order to close it is one of the best. the knowledge you give on the trade and on thinkorswim worth gold. thank you again. i have 1 question about alerts if you please. lets say i open an iron condor trade with a closing order like you showed, with opposite order and a closing price that is 50% or whatever i decide, is there a way to ask thinkorswim to send me alerts every 5 min lets say or 3 minutes, that will tell me whats the iron condor price now? i want to make sure there is no drift of the price up or down till it closes for the price i gave it. appreciate very much.

thanks for the explaination. and what does % mean? on the platform it says that % is "a profit&loss as a percent of the account balance". However, my % of the total account balance number look different from my potential profit or loss, so I'm confused as to what that graph means
